From the South:-
At the roundabout on the A629 (A650) between Keighley and Skipton take the turning to Silsden/Addingham. In less than a mile you will enter Silsden and go over a humpy canal bridge. Immediately afterwards turn right at Clog Bridge and go along Howden Road for about a mile. After the Springbank Nursing Home turn left up Hawber Lane and then turn right after about 150 yards along Brunthwaite Lane. Follow this past the Golf Club as it twists and turns up the hill for about two miles until you get to the very top of the hill where there is a T junction with a Lightbank Lane sign. The road goes sharp left but our concrete farm track is on the right. You will see our Black Pots sign here at the end of the track.

From the North:-
From the roundabout on the Addingham by-pass which is part of the A65 between Ilkley and Skipton, take the turning to Silsden/Keighley. After 100 yards turn left up Turner Lane, signposted Addingham Moorside. At the crossroads at the top turn right and after about 1/4 of a mile turn left onto Lightbank Lane. Follow this as it contours around the hillside for about a mile until it makes a very sharp right hand bend and plunges off down the hill. Don’t turn right as our gated concrete farm track is straight in front of you. You will see our Black Pots sign here at the end of the track.

Follow our signs. Only about ¾ of a mile to go now!

Follow the concrete farm track through two gates. Please leave the gates as you find them. Just after the farm bungalow on the left, carry straight on up a little hill and continue along a gravelly car track to a third gate. This is where people tend to panic and fear they are going to drive off the edge of the world- don’t worry, it just feels like it the first time!!. Go through the third gate and on down the hill and you will see Black Pots in the distance.

Drive over the cattlegrid into the farmyard and there is parking for The Shippon immediately on your right. You’ve arrived!
